Supra Rear End Pickup
Inspect rear axle shaft and flange for wear, damage or runout. 0.1 mm (0.004 in.) if the rear axle flange is damaged or worn, or if runout is greater than maximum, replace the rear axle shaft.
The supra carrier will only retrofit into the v6 third member, not the more common 4.
Supra rear end pickup. About 14 inches from side to side (mount to mount) vs only about 8 to 10 inches mount to mount for the is300. Something to muffle the swearing it's not that bad. Drop forged 4140 steel replacement axle shafts for the 7.5” rigid axle supra rear.
I'm a big fan of the supras butt, but i may be a little biased lol. Write up & a lot of other related information. I know that some/or all of those are independent, which is ok.
The biggest pita is just breaking the bolts loose without stripping them. Bare fits right or left. The carriers, however, are transplantable.

Before i start i just wanted to give a Yup, the supra rear end is very different, much wider. Prior to this, the only decal on the rear was a few inches in size off to the right side.

That means you are able to use the ae86 sway bars with the ma46/ma47 sway bar mounts & brackets. Identifying marks for this axle can be found in the center of the drum mounting surface. You will not find these anywhere else!
The rear are allen head bolts, 10mm iirc, the front one is a hex head and there's a nut on top that's a pita to hold. It is also longer front to back. There are 4 lines that run opposite of each other.

This kit fits rwd coil spring (not for leaf springs) equipped solid axle for corollas, celicas, ae86s, e70, a40/a50 and supras. I absolutely love the rear angles of the car. And try to position the pick up point so the arm is level ( with respect to the ground) when at ride height.
25 (34) intermediate shaft mount: 51 (69) cressida & supra: I can definitely see toyota giving the 86 a slight supra treatment, from the test mule we saw on the track i believe they have inspiration from the supra in the front end and slightly in the rear.
In their present location, the front mounting will intrude directly into the space where the driver and passenger would sit. The drivetrain for the supra retained the t series solid rear axle configuration of the celica in the japanese ma45 version and a larger f series (and optional limited slip differential) in the ma46 and ma47.
